Use a shoe brush with soft bristles to get out any bits of dirt from between the stitching, while the shoes are dry. Use a soft damp cloth made out of cotton and a drop of mild soap diluted with water to remove any stains or dirt. You can also apply a leather conditioner to the shoe, which will not only finish off the cleaning process, but will soften your patent leather shoes a bit for maximum comfort. After cleaning and drying, you should apply a wax or polish to your patent leather shoe. This will protect the leather from future dirt, but it will also help to waterproof the leather, in order to increase the longevity of your shoes.

To clean, use a suede brush specially for suede products to remove any dirt and stains. It is important to brush in the same direction. If you brush in different directions, it can lead to discoloration of the leather. Follow up with a spray especially for suede leather intended for protection against water and stains. If there is a stain or dirt that does not go away, try using a leather seek out a professional who works particularly with suede to seek treatment. Maintain the treatment of your shoes with brushing them with a clean soft suede brush.

A patent leather cleaner containing silicone will help to restore the high gloss of the leather. Use a soft brush to remove any loose dirt before starting the cleaning process. Scratches or tough marks can be removed with an eraser, by softly rubbing the eraser on the marks. With a damp cloth and a tiny bit of very mild soap clean the glossy surface in circular motions, not rubbing too harshly. Use the smallest amount of water, since the leather is not waterproof and soaking the material in water will damage the leather. We recommend that you only use a cleaner that is made especially for glossy and patent leather, otherwise the surface can be damaged.

Remove any loose dirt from your shoes before starting to clean your shoes. Use a mixture of luke warm water and a tiny bit of laundry detergent and clean the stains or dirt off your shoes with a toothbrush or a clean piece of cloth. Avoid soaking the shoes completely in water. After cleaning, leave the shoes to dry completely.

Easiest way to clean the rubber sole is with a magic eraser sponge. First, brush any dried dirt with a toothbrush away, so that only the stains are left on the shoe. Then, wet the sponge with a tiny bit of water and clean just the sole of the shoe. Another way to remove stains from the sole is to use a bit of dish soap and a rag to get any stains or dirt off the sole. After cleaning the sole with either the magic eraser or a rag, remove any excess away with a clean damp towel or rag and leave the shoes to dry.

The footbed of our summer sandals is also made out of suede, here are some tips to prolong the life span of your shoes: Avoid excessive heat on the shoes, this can cause the suede to shrink. Use a suede protection, in order to minimize discoloration. Do not slip into your sandals with wet feet, water can damage the suede lining.
